The Walnut Lake Property Owner’s Association Sub 1 Boat Club was established in 1960 to own, operate and maintain the boat docks and to manage the twenty-eight (28) boat wells and pole positions at the W.L.P.O.A. Sub 1 park property . The Boat Club is governed by the Boat Club Articles of Association.
This club allots a well or pole mooring position for the summer season to the 28 members of the Boat Club. Each of the 28 members registers and pays an additional fee, and these funds completely support all of the association’s expenses related to club docks.
Any W.L.P.O.A. Sub 1 member in good standing is eligible to become a member of the Boat Club. Interested association members should contact the Boat Club Commodore to request an application to the Boat Club Waiting List. A signed and dated receipt of the application will be issued. If a member falls out of good standing they will be removed from the Waiting List.
Members may sign up for temporary wells/mooring positions; 3 per summer. Or, if you are high enough on the wait list, you can sometimes sublet space.
All WLPOA-Sub 1 boaters must follow all association and Boat Club rules. Failure to follow them will revoke Boat Club membership and privileges.
